This is the most incompetent office I have ever dealt with. Not only do they offer terrible customer service but it is obvious they do not want to do the job they are getting paid to do. I have been here several times and every time the same outcome. The male manager has an attitude with employees as well as customers. When you have a bad manager the employees have bad attitudes which translates to bad customer service. Get rid of that manager and the blonde with glasses! I will never use this post office again! If anyone needs a good post office Dagsboro or Bethany Beach Post Office is where you should go. If you do not want to do your job then find another one its as simple as that. I am filing a complaint! They do not even deserve half a star!

I just read a handful of reviews. (All very bad) My wife and I moved here from north Jersey three + yrs ago to Ocean View. So far everything has been really good between going to the post office and mail being delivered. No packages not mailed or missing, (as far as we know) Our reg mailman, Mike is very nice and whatever doesn't fit in our mailbox , he brings up to the porch. (even if it's raining!)
On Oct.11, 2017 I observed the male Post Master act agitated and impatient with a "seasoned citizen." There were two women who were efficient, courteous and respectful to their customers; it was quite busy. The Post Master acted inexcusibly rudely. She didn't ask for anything out of the ordinary, but his impatience prohibited her from explaining her concern. He rushed away from her twice, not listening to her simple request and explanation. Today I called to express my concern. The woman to whom I spoke remembered the incident vividly. I'm not surprised because he was ABSOLUTELY boorish. I needed to return today for another transaction. The lobby was empty so I explained I needed to talk with the Post Master. I told her that I was in no hurry. When she went to the back to tell him, I heard him impatiently ask why. Since the lobby was still empty, I called out, "because of your attitude." He came out quickly and in an agitated state. I told him he could finish what he was doing, but he stayed, instead. I told him he really needs to back down and be more kind. I described the incident yesterday. His response was, "I'm sorry you feel that way." NOT sorry for his behavior. There was quite an extended exchange where he became more impatient and agitated. When I mentioned it, he denied his behaviors. His comments were sarcastic and condescending and his apology insincere. I'm pretty sure I've never experienced such an unprofessional attitude in a public forum.
They were not friendly and bad attitudes. They told me to fill it out with the info on the package that I could nt read it becuz the addy was very tiny to be difficult to read it so I asked the lady if she can help me or if she have magnify glass and she said NO! That's impossible for them not having it? I think she don t feel like to get it. So I have to drive home and do it myself then drove back to PO again. Waste my time. That's a SHAME!!!! I've been working USPS for 36 years in MD and YES I helped customers so many times. They really appreciate it very much.
